Explore Your Archive
Explore Your Archive is a joint campaign delivered by The National Archives and the Archives and Records Association across the UK and Ireland. It aims to showcase the unique potential of archives to excite people, bring communities together, and tell amazing stories.
In 2013 The National Archives asked us to produce a series of 5 short films to help them promote their ‘Explore Your Archive’ campaign. We worked closely with our client to ensure consistency of ‘look and feel’ across all of the films. The final film in the series – a ‘Call to Action’ features a powerful edit of ‘one-liners’ from contributors from the worlds of politics, literature and academia. The films were screened to a large audience of archivists at the House of Parliament and they have also gained over 7,500 hits online.
We were privileged to film a number of interviews on location in London with TNA Ambassadors including Lord Ashdown, Tristram Hunt, Antony Beevor and Lisa Jardine.
