Care Act
It was a large scale project spanning 6 months from concept to completion which entailed working closely with our commissioners to bring a number of complex stories to life around social care, health and wellbeing. This involved sensitively filming interviews with a number of vulnerable people across the county at varied locations such as residential care homes, in temporary accommodation, in people’s homes, at Age UK, a dementia café and at a library.
The films have been very well received and embedded on the Nottingham County Council website, social media channels, shown at conferences, events and used for training both internally and externally. They have also been shared and adopted by 4 local authorities in the East Midlands and by Hertfordshire County Council. They have been implemented into an e-learning programme and several of the subtitled films are currently exhibited in G.P surgeries and libraries across Nottinghamshire.
