ICONIC is a Royal Television Society award-nominated independent production company based in Birmingham, UK.
ICONIC specialise in delivering broadcast-quality documentary films for the public, private and charity sectors, as well as compelling feature-length theatrical documentaries.
The company was founded in 2007 by director and lead producer Sam Lockyer and since then have produced hundreds of short-form films for many high-profile clients including Google, O2 – Telefonica, National Trust, Football Association, Ball Corporation, Carlsberg-Marston’s Brewing Company, Birmingham City Council and the University of Birmingham.
Iconic also produces long-form documentaries including the Feature Documentary film ‘501 Not Out’ on legendary cricketer Brian Lara, ‘Movement Inspired’ – a series of short films fusing Artistic Gymnastics with contemporary jazz commissioned for the Commonwealth Games and on our slate currently, a co-production with double BAFTA award-winning director Michael B.Clifford on ‘The Fastest Bicycle’ (post-production).
